AVIAITORS FORCED FROM AIR BY HEAT
Baltimore, July 10-- Forced by intense heat with its accompaniment of humidity to discontinue their flight by aeroplane to Washington. Harry N. Atwood and Charles K. Hamilton, who left Atlantic City at 5:04 today in the latter's biplane, descended shortly after 9 o'clock near Stemmers Run station eight miles east of Baltimore and came to Baltimore by train. They had traveled approximately 148 miles with only one stop for gasoline. The airmen announced their intention of resuming thier flight later in the day if weather conditions permit.
